I never thought the miniscule savings were worth the risk of screwing up my printer, poor print quality, etc etc. But recently, with the price of the printers coming down and yet toner going up, way up, I reached my limit. I hunted around and found several compatible cartridges and decided to take a risk on this one. I bought this 2-pack for less than half the price of 1 (one!) original HP cartridge. In other words, each of these cartridges costs 75% LESS than the original OEM cartridge.Results? I'm sold. Best I can tell, my LaserJet M1212nf sees this cartridge as an HP original. It doesn't throw any errors, either on the little device screen or via the software. Prints look perfect as always. Literally no discernable difference in performance between HP and this, and I'm pretty particular. We'll see what page count I get out of each of these, but unless it's only 25% of the already pitiful HP cartridge page count,... Not only did I *not* get an error message when I put it in, but the quality of the print was the same as if I had bought an actual HP cartridge. I am very pleased.I note that another reviewer had problems with the quality of the print. It's possible that reviewer simply got a defective cartridge, and if that's the case, I would've returned it to the seller.
